$65.00 Members, $80.00 Non-Members - As a part of the OSHA Outreach Training Program, the 10 Hour General Industry Course provides training for workers and employers on the recognition, avoidance, abatement, and prevention of safety and health hazards in workplaces as they relate to occupations in the general industry. The course also provides information regarding worker’s rights, employer responsibilities, and how to file a complaint. This course is presented by OSHA-authorized trainers. The 10 Hour class is intended for entry level workers. This course is designed to ensure that employees and employers and more knowledgeable about workplace hazards along with employer and employee rights and responsibilities. In Nevada, this is a mandatory program starting on January 1, 2018 for specific workers in the entertainment industry. This is a voluntary program for all other general industry workers in the State of Nevada. Through this training, OSHA helps to ensure that workers are more knowledgeable about workplace hazards and their rights, and contribute to our nation's productivity.
