$35 Members, $45 Non-Members - This course provides training in child, infant and adult CPR, AED and basic first aid emergency skills which will help students develop the knowledge and confidence to respond in a medical emergency. The program is intended for child care providers, youth coaches, parents, and others in contact with children, and teaches both response skills and prevention strategies for the care of children and infants. Techniques for adult care will also be covered. The program helps employers meet OSHA and other regulatory requirements, and features a video component as well as hands-on practice. Classes are conducted by certified instructors, and all course materials are provided by Medic/First Aid, a nationally recognized program. Students will receive a certification card at the conclusion of the course, which is valid for two years.
