John Worthing
Owner

John has over 45 years of experience in commercial self insurance. His introduction to self insurance came in 1977 while working for a large Ford dealership in Michigan. He successfully established and managed his employer’s self insured business through Ford Life. Subsequently he established an agency to work exclusively with Self Insured Risks for auto dealers. John was first involved in Nevada self insurance in 1987 when contacted by the Nevada Franchised Auto Dealers Association for a self insured product for their dealers. When the Auto Dealers and the Nevada Motor Transport Association chose to establish groups for their Workers’ Compensation coverage, John was contacted to help develop the groups.


Robert Vogel
Owner and President

Robert Vogel has been part of the corporate world for over 40 years. He earned his Bachelors of Accountancy Degree in 1980 at New Mexico State University and is a Certified Public Accountant licensed in both Texas and Nevada. Vogel joined Pro Group Management at its inception in 1995. He brings substantial technical and leadership skills to the overall direction of operations of all Pro Group Companies including Pro Group Management, Pro Group Captive Management Services and PGM Safety Services. Responsibilities for Pro Group Captive Management Services includes overseeing all operations for management, and investment strategies for 60 captive insurance companies domiciled in the states of Nevada, Tennessee, Alabama, Arizona, Michigan and Hawaii. Those captives represent over $380 million dollars in assets. He also serves as an expert on feasibility, licensing and corporate management of new captives. Vogel also is a member of the board of directors and an officer for each of the captive insurance companies domiciled in Nevada. A results-oriented leader, Vogel believes productivity is maximized in a pleasant working environment that reflects a philosophy of commitment to community, family, fair return on equity and genuine concern for staff.


Renea Louie ARM ACI Fellow
Chief Operations Officer

Renea Louie joined the Pro Group family of companies in 2005. She serves as the Chief Operations Officer for Pro Group. Mrs. Louie is an accomplished business professional with extensive experience and knowledge in the Alternative Risk Transfer industry and business management and growth. Prior to joining Pro Group, she held top level executive roles in the high-tech industry. She is based at the Corporate Headquarters in Carson City, Nevada. Mrs. Louie has 35 years’ experience in senior management, operations, IT, marketing, administration, and corporate affairs. She is responsible for the day-to-day operations and oversees and manages marketing, underwriting, accounting, audit, risk management, client and regulator relations, client acquisition & retention, regulatory compliance, government affairs and corporate communications and standards. She is a respected industry leader, and her experience includes procurement, management, and team oversight of complex national and global risk management clients and projects using her authoritative experience in the feasibility, formation, licensing, and ongoing management daily for more than 100 insurance companies and 5 Self-Insured Groups with just under a half billion under management day to day. Mrs. Louie has served the industry dutifully and dependably for two decades on many Boards including The International Center for Captive Insurance Education (ICCIE) for 2 terms totaling 6 years and continues to serve on the marketing committee. Additionally, she serves on or is a member of many onshore state and national associations including Nevada, Utah, Arizona, Vermont, Tennessee, and others and chairs several currently. Louie serves as the current Western Region Captive Association Co-Chairman and a director, Nevada Captive Industry Council as a Director and Officer/Secretary. She also is the Chairman of the Board and elected Director of the Global Captive Insurance Companies Association (CICA) with 5 years of service as an officer serving as the Secretary/Treasurer of the global organization and Vice Chairman of the Board before ascending to her current role as Chairman of the Board, and A Director of the Oklahoma Captive Insurance Association. She is an esteemed longtime member of the Risk and Insurance Management Society (RIMS) and has been recognized and awarded for outstanding achievements in the industry and a recipient of the coveted insurance scholar award. She was also awarded the prestigious Fellow Status by ICCIE at the University of Vermont in 2019. Her unique and wide range of skill sets, and experience Nationally and Globally has enabled her to become an engaged leader in the industry and on the political landscape for two decades and is a frequent speaker and commentator at industry conferences, meetings and in articles. She is ranked the 15th most influential and powerful global leader in the industry.
